Terms

TODO — the terms haven’t been written

docs/CONTENT.md lists this route but supplies no copy, and terms of service are commitments rather than description — liability, warranty on refurbished hardware, who owns what, what happens if a donated device turns out to hold data we missed. None of that is decided, and none of it should be drafted by guessing at what a similar organisation might say. Get it written, then replace this page.

Until there is a real document here, the honest position is this: the course is free to read and free to use in a classroom, the devices we hand on are donated second-hand hardware repaired by students and come with no warranty, and nothing on this site is a contract.

The one term that is settled

You need to be 13 or over to make a course account. docs/SPEC.md sets 13 as the minimum age, and the sign-up form enforces it — there is no way to create an account without confirming it. Lesson content is readable by anyone, with or without an account, so nobody under 13 is shut out of the material.
